Join Coach AND Chef Alyssa Gagarin for an unique wellness retreat focused on our three favorite F words: fitness, food, and fun! We'll get to know the cultural, culinary, and adventurous sides of Costa Rica, while also getting well-acquainted with the beaches and pools. This trip is all about balance and enjoying yourself!
Each morning Alyssa will lead a bodyweight HIIT workout (high-intensity interval training) to get us moving and sweaty! The classes will be a combination of strength training and cardio intervals that you can take at your own pace. On select days, we will have a second class which will be more restorative or focused, such as a core class.
Our culinary adventure will surprise you with how easy it can be to cook delicious, quick, and healthy meals. In the afternoons, Alyssa will lead a different food-focused activity such as touring the local farmer's market, leading a hands-on cooking class, or hosting a workshop or demo.
Outside of the kitchen, we will explore a different kind of adventure: zip lining! On one lucky morning, we'll get a birds-eye view of the land while we zoom through canopies - and we'll be back in time for lunch!
Each day will balance activities with free time to relax, reflect, or go explore on your own or with others. Our resort is right on the beach and also has a couple of pools (with a swim-up bar!) so free time is yours to cherish! Other ideas are to get a massage, sign up for an extra excursion, or visit the town for some shopping.

Meet Coach Alyssa Gagarin
Alyssa, a private chef, certified personal trainer, & fitness instructor in NYC, is passionate about spreading the empowering feeling of living an active, healthy lifestyle!
In the kitchen, she creates light, fresh & healthy cuisine for her clients and is an advocate for consuming real, whole, unprocessed foods. She is Nutritious Life certified through Keri Glassman's The Nutrition School and is a self taught, home cook. She adores working with children, as young as toddlers, teaching them knife skills and about eating seasonally during her kid’s cooking classes at Freshmade NYC.
In the gym, she works one on one with clients, specializing in strength training and mobility, helping people to move better and get stronger. Her enthusiasm and motivation is evident during her group fitness classes at City Row, using the very effective and safe indoor water rower for an endurance cardio workout. Alyssa has combined her many interests to create her own healthy cooking show! Her cooking show is her ultimate passion project, as she shows people how living a healthy life can be simple and fulfilling.
