Girls' Fitness & Adventure Trip: Nicaragua
The Girls' Fitness & Adventure Trip series is heading to Nicaragua! Join this inaugural retreat, led by Layne Bruner and Aurora Jones, for a week of fitness, fun and feeling great - ladies only!
Why Nica? Nicaragua is one of the hidden gems of Central America growing quickly in popularity by travelers. The stunning terrain is a mix of beaches, mountains, lakes, and volcanoes, all of which we will see on our retreat! From our sunset classes to meditative paddling boarding to local cuisine and more, we will explore the local culture while having a meaningful wellness-minded social getaway!
Each day, Coaches Layne and Aurora will lead two fitness classes that pull from a variety of disciplines including high intensity fitness like HIIT, tabata, yoga, and barre-influenced fitness. All movements have modifications for different fitness levels, so everyone is welcome!
As part of our retreat, we will explore Nicaragua by land and sea on different group excursions! Should you choose to join (the choice is always yours!), we will go on a moderate hike to "Giant's Foot" close to the hotel in time for a panoramic view of sunset on our second afternoon. And later in the retreat, we will sail a private catamaran to visit nearby beaches, go snorkeling and relax while enjoying unlimited snacks and drinks. We will dock in San Juan del Sur, a colorful coastal town, for a free night and to grab dinner at your choice of local restaurants!
Relaxation is a big part of the retreat experience, and we want each guest to walk away feeling refreshed and rejuvenated (as well as strong mentally and physically!). Our beachfront resort has complimentary kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel equipment, as well as beach chairs to enjoy at your leisure. And on our last night, we will have a private bonfire on neighboring Amarillo Beach with s'mores and reflection before having a farewell BBQ. Together, between our fitness, adventure and relaxation, we will reconnect to what's important and come back to reality as better, more centered versions of ourselves.
