What is Malta?Malta is one of the Mediterranean’s best-kept secrets — a small island nation between Sicily and North Africa known for its dramatic coastline, crystal-clear waters, and over 7,000 years of history.
In a single day you can explore medieval cities, swim in turquoise lagoons, stroll charming seaside towns, and watch the sunset from soaring sea cliffs. It’s the perfect destination for adventure, culture, and connection.... and a Ketanga Fitness Retreat! |
Who This Retreat Is ForThis retreat is for adventurous, active travelers who want more than a typical vacation. It’s for women who love exploring new places, staying active, connecting with like-minded people, and immersing themselves in local culture.
You don’t need to be an athlete or travel with a friend—many guests come solo and quickly feel part of the group. If you enjoy movement, meaningful experiences, beautiful scenery, and a balance of activity and relaxation, you’ll feel right at home. |

Rachael Bridgens has hosted retreats with Ketanga in Costa Rica, Iceland, Aruba, and Portugal, and she loves traveling as much as staying active. Rachael is a classically-trained, nationally-certified Pilates teacher, educator, and studio owner who blends Pilates, travel, and community into everything she does!
In addition to hosting retreats, Rachael loves to take Pilates classes wherever she goes. Her favorite? A class in Venice taught entirely in Italian—a language she doesn’t speak a word of, but loved every minute of. These global experiences are the foundation of the Pilates retreats she hosts, designed to combine movement, exploration, and meaningful connection in unforgettable destinations. |
