There's Pilates and then there's Pilates en la playa (on the beach)! Join Coach Jenna Muller for a fitness retreat in beautiful Costa Rica with beachfront workouts, cocktails, and relaxation! Together, we'll enjoy low-impact (yet highly effective) classes, local adventures like zip lining and paddle boarding, and we'll learn what it really means to connect with ourselves and one another from the core.
Each day, Jenna will lead two classes to target the whole body with a focus on building a strong core. In the mornings, we will have a higher intensity class alternating between her signature 'rock the mat' cardio barre workout and a power Pilates class, both meant to get the heart rate up with minimal impact. Around sunset, our second workout will be more restorative and core-focused, either a traditional Pilates mat class or a yoga-inspired stretching workshop. Appropriate for all levels!
When we're not rocking the mat, we'll be experiencing different types of adventures in Costa Rica. One day we'll visit a neighboring beach for stand-up paddle boarding, a lot of fun and a great core workout! Another morning we will depart for the mountains and zip line down for an adrenaline rush and the most amazing views! These activities are included, but optional if you choose to sit out and do your own thing.
Each day will balance activities with free time to relax, reflect, or go explore on your own or with others. Our resort is right on the beach and also has a couple of pools (with a swim-up bar!) so free time is yours to cherish! Other ideas are to get a massage, sign up for an extra excursion, or visit the town for some shopping.

Meet Coach Jenna Muller
Jenna Muller is a born and bred New Yorker and a dancer at heart. She danced her first steps at the age of 3 and continued to dance throughout college at Hofstra University. Throughout her journey, she has studied various forms of dance including ballet, tap, jazz and modern. The pure joy of movement and performing ignited a life-long passion for dance and fitness.
After working in the corporate world for many years, she missed the daily mind-body connection dance offered. To re-connect, she became certified in Pilates and barre3, a 60 minute workout which fuses yoga, ballet, and Pilates. Today, fitness is an integral part of her daily life and she loves sharing her passion and knowledge with individuals of all ages and levels, with her own “Rock the Mat” workouts. And as new mom who taught throughout her entire pregnancy, she offers an array of pre and post-natal modifications and tips for those in need.
