Power & Empower Retreat
This retreat is all about empowerment from the inside out. With the gorgeous backdrops of beaches, sunsets, and lush greenery, Coach Kym Klein will help us learn to take a step back and be present in this experience and in our daily lives. From morning workouts and afternoon adventures, to sunset yoga and dinners out on the town, this trip will leave you refreshed, rejuvenated, and feeling strong inside and out.
Elevate your mind, body, and spirit with full body workouts each morning that incorporate High Intensity Interval Training with Pilates principles to make your body feel strong and light. Each evening we will set the tone with a Vinyasa flow created to light a fire inside of ourselves and bring out our most positive selves. Remember positivity fuels happiness.
Throughout the retreat, we will explore different parts of the area by going on local adventures. One morning we will ride the Costa Rican waves on a surf lesson for all levels. Another day, we will see the mountains and forest on a biking tour. Both included yet totally optional!
Each day will balance activities with free time to relax, reflect, or go explore on your own or with others. Our resort is right on the beach and also has a couple of pools (with a swim-up bar!) so free time is yours to cherish! Other ideas are to get a massage, sign up for an extra excursion, or visit the town for some shopping.
Highlights / What's Included
Tennessee born and bred, Kym Klein of Yoga Joint Studios brings a southern sweetness and nurturing approach to her teaching style.
With enthusiasm to squeeze the most out of each and every moment, Kym’s energy is contagious. She believes in the invigorating power that yoga offers the mind, body, and spirit and that finding that connection helps create vitality, increasing will power, and the capacity to bear stress.
Kym’s passion for yoga and fitness stems from her competitive dance background. She found yoga in 2003 while pausing her dance career to become a mother to two girls. She began experimenting with various styles of the practice, beginning with Sivananda, and broadening her knowledge by studying Vinyasa, Hatha, and Bikram. Vinyasa flow felt like home as it has a dance-like sensibility that was so familiar. In her class students will feel the importance of integrating the spiritual and philosophical teachings of yoga while mindfully synchronizing breath and movement.
Kym prides herself on making her classes accessible for everyone. She offers a slow and deep practice for beginners, yet challenging to even the most advanced students. Kym has a mission to create space for her students to find freedom and resonance in their bodies and lives.
Expect to leave her class feeling stronger, more flexible, balanced, and most importantly, uplifted! Follow Kym and Yoga Joint Studios on IG.
