Racquet Retreats
Spend five days in paradise while working on your tennis game, athletic ability and your tan! You'll train with two of the finest coaches from New York with daily clinics and match play, and you'll culminate the retreat with a tournament on the final day.

Tennis:
Take your game to the next level by training every day with coaches Jesse and Eduardo. They will take you through drills focusing on each stroke and solidifying the correct technique in the mornings, and they'll facilitate games and optional match play in the afternoons. The week will culminate with a fun tournament separated in groups by level.
Adventure & Relaxation:
In between court time and yoga classes, you have plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful, all-inclusive resort! With pools, beachfront access, a pampering spa, multiple restaurants, and tons of land and water activities on site at the resort, you'll have as much or as little to do during free time as you'd like!

Meet Your Coaches

Jesse Chalfin is a USPTR Certified Tennis Professional. He is currently the Director of Tennis and Head Pro at the Woodstock Tennis Club in Woodstock, NY. His teaching experience includes the Prospect Park Tennis Center, Total Tennis and Hockessin Indoor Tennis. He played USTA Eastern Division tournaments before competing at the University of Delaware. While residing in Upstate NY, he has won multiple Men's Open division singles and doubles tournaments. Jesse also coached the St. Joseph's College Men's and Women's Tennis Teams from 2017-2021 and is the Co-Founder of Racquet Retreats.

Eduardo Gil is a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional. He is currently working at The Prospect Park Tennis Center in Brooklyn, NY. His teaching experience includes Total Tennis and Sportime at Mamaroneck, NY. He played ITF tournaments as a Top Ranked Junior Player representing Venezuela. Eduardo was ranked #1 in Caracas, Venezuela, in the 16- and 18-and-under divisions. as well as # 8 in the country. Eduardo also played Future tournaments at the Pro Level and is the Co-Founder of Racquet Retreats.

Tennis Retreat FAQ
What does a day on the retreat look like?
In the morning, the group will kick off the day with tennis drills split into one or two sections depending on the group size. Afterwards, enjoy free time, dining, the beach, and the resort amenities. In the late afternoon, we'll have one more tennis session (fun games), and then in the evening, it will be time for cocktails and dinner. You'll have the option to meet as a full group and enjoy spending time together or on your own!
Who should join?
Anyone who is interested in taking their tennis game to the next level in a fun group setting is invited to join! We expect a wide range of experience levels, ages and backgrounds - our favorite cocktail of a retreat group!
Is the retreat for all levels?
We will be splitting you into smaller groups with similar levels so everyone feels comfortable, gets plenty of individualized attention and makes the most of the experience! If you are an absolute beginner, you can certainly still join! Contact us and we may recommend taking a few lessons to familiarize yourself with the game before the trip.
