FITNESS (classes are optional and for all levels)
Mega Mat & HIIT with Erica: A challenging, core intensive workout, typically done on the megaformer or Xformer, but will be using sliders and other props to mimic the intensity of the machines. This class will target both the slow and fast twitch muscle fibers, producing maximum exertion and muscle fatigue to sculpt long lean and powerful muscles. High intensity intervals will be throughout to amplify heart rate. Beach Barre with Laura: Barre is a dynamic, full-body workout that blends Pilates-inspired movements to tone, define, and sculpt every muscle. This energetic class combines strength, flexibility, and a touch of cardio to boost metabolism, all while being gentle on the joints. This will be a challenging yet accessible workout for all levels. Pilates Sculpt & Pickleball with Rebecca: A full body muscle toning class designed to build strength, using resistance and high repetitions to define and build lean muscles. Will incorporate stretches and revitalizing recovery exercises as well. All levels. Followed by a fun pickleball tourney if desired. |

Laura Zavadil is the founder and co-owner of Mega Barre Youngstown. Laura has a strong dance & fitness background. She danced professionally in various musical theater venues around the world, such as Tokyo Disneyland and the Radio City Rockette Christmas Spectacular.
Combining her passion for fitness, dance and wellness, Laura became certified through bootybarre® and all of its sister programs. She started teaching group fitness in 2013. Mega Barre's innovative fitness program is not only the most unique in the industry, but gaining worldwide recognition on all fronts for being the best in the business. She proudly was the first to bring the fitness craze, “barre” in Northeast Ohio. Laura became a Registered and Licensed dietitian in 2007 and is also AFAA certified as a group fitness instructor, TRX, mat Pilates certified, and Lagree Fitness. |

Erica Fleming is co-owner of Mega Barre Youngstown and runs the Megaformer studio.
Erica’s passion for wellness and fitness started at an early age. She graduated from the University of Akron in 1999 with a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition. Out of college, she worked for Jenny Craig in Hudson, Ohio for two years and then moved back to Youngstown to become Shepherd of the Valley’s first Wellness Director. While there, she worked with residents and employees to achieve all of their health and fitness goals. Erica completed her bootybarre course training in Pittsburgh, PA in 2015, TRX fitness training in April of 2016, and bootybarre’s bounce training June 2017. in 2019, Erica decided to open the area’s FIRST and ONLY Lagree Studio on the cutting edge and state of the art, Megaformers. The Lagree technique is unique and challenging, and includes all that she loves about fitness; strength, cardio, endurance and flexibility! |

Rebecca Harper: With over 4 decades of specialized movement as a dancer, competitive gymnast and cheerleader, and 10+ years as a fitness instructor, my mission with Body Balance is to help others become the best version of themselves through movement. Through my own journey of becoming a wife, a mother of 3 and a full time homemaker I know first hand how easy it is to pour into others while putting yourself on the backburner.
At the age of 35, I took my first fitness barre class and fell in love! I knew then that my passion is to teach others how to achieve balance in their everyday lives through movement. When your body is strong, your mind is strong. I have lived in Bentonville, Arkansas for 22 years and started teaching fitness classes in 2013. I currently hold certifications in XFormer, bootybarre, bbarreless, Athletic Reformer, Pilates Suspension Method, bootybarre Suspension, bootybarre Bounce, Pumped Up Strength, YogaBody Science of Stretching, BarreBody Yin Reformer and WERQ Dance Fitness. |
