How to Exercise While Expecting: 5/18/16
Whether you're pregnant, soon-to-be pregnant, or you work with mamas-to-be, this is for you!
This special event, brought to you in partnership with FamilyCord, showed mamas-to-be ways to exercise safely and effectively while pregnant. Our mamas took back-to-back classes led by two of NYC's top prenatal experts to teach them everything they need to know for keeping the core strong for an easier delivery and a quicker return to that pre-baby bod!
The class began with a fun, total body workout by Sheryl Wilson of Fitnotic, mom of two and a NASM-certified personal trainer specializing in diastasis recti and pre/postnatal fitness. Next up was Solange Ross of CompleteCore, a women's health physical therapist and pre/postnatal trainer, who led the group through a strengthening and conditioning core class blending yoga, Pilates, and physical therapy-based moves.
