Together, we'll work out in a supportive environment, try exciting local activities and enjoy the serenity of the luxurious beachfront resort. Fitness & Wellness Two daily fitness classes will pull from a variety of disciplines including high intensity fitness like HIIT and tabata in the mornings and then more restorative workouts like yoga and barre-influenced fitness in the evenings. All movements have modifications for varying fitness levels. There will also be a wellness seminar to learn about the effects of sugar on the body. Adventure: There are so many incredible things to see and do in Costa Rica, and on our retreat, we will have two excursions included to enjoy the country by land and by sea. On our first day together, we'll visit Rincon de la Vieja for the ultimate adventure tour combining horseback riding, zip lining, hot springs, and more! On our final day together, we'll celebrate with a memorable catamaran sail along the ocean with snorkeling, open bar and possible whale sightings! Relaxation: Taking time to relax and recharge is a top priority on this retreat! In between workouts and activities (which are all totally optional by the way), you'll have plenty of time to lay on the beach, go tanning by the pool or treat yourself to a massage! There is also opportunity to sign up for additional activities like surf lessons, horseback riding or zip lining. |

Layne Bruner is an American Council of Exercise Certified Health Coach and Fitness Professional. She is a founder of Wellthy Soul, a holistic health and wellness company. She and her care team specialize in and teach weight loss and holistic healthy living. She identifies herself as an endless joy seeker, a fitness motivator, and she is always looking for self-improvement and a better way to live this life. Witnessing life change in men and women is her soul’s fuel and Layne is led by her Faith and connecting like-minded people together through transparent and real relationships. Layne has a vast background in fitness and dance and has studied ballet, tap, modern dance and jazz at studios in California, Florida, Virginia, West Virginia, Dallas and Austin, Texas.
Today Layne lives in Austin, Texas with her husband, two children, and their dog, Trooper. She spends her days’ health coaching clients, teaching fitness classes, and hanging out with her husband and boys at the baseball fields or on the trail systems in Austin. Aurora Jones is a life-long sports and wellness enthusiast. She began teaching group exercise 20 years ago while attending Colorado State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology.
Aurora is extensively trained in Anatomy, Kinesiology and specialized in Wellness Program Management. Aurora owns a barre3 studio in Austin Texas and fell in love with the practice because of its approach to whole body health and the way it transformed her body after having three children. An avid runner, Aurora also loves Pilates and has a personal yearning for knowledge in nutrition and fuel for the human body. Aurora is incredibly passionate about motivating others to become the strongest, healthiest version of themselves. |
