FITNESS, FUN & ADVENTURE!

This retreat is for anyone who loves to move! You'll get daily workouts with Michelle to help you sweat, sculpt, flow, dance and stretch. Join your fellow fitness enthusiasts, make new friends, and experience adventure in beautiful Costa Rica together. It's fitness, adventure, and relaxation at its finest.

Fitness:
​Throughout the retreat, Michelle will lead daily morning workouts encompassing a variety of fitness styles, from dance cardio to athletic conditioning. You'll get total body sculpting and mobility with elements of Pilates and yoga. 

Adventure:
On the agenda is an exhilarating zip-lining tour through the Costa Rican tree canopies with our trusted guides. On another day, we'll escape on a catamaran for snorkeling, whale watching, sunset viewing, lunch, and an open bar! These activities are included but totally optional! Of course, you'll also have a free day to choose your own activities.

Relaxation:
Each day will balance both activities with free time to relax, reflect, or explore on your own or with the group. Our resort is right on the beach and has several pools, so free time is yours to cherish! Some other ideas to consider are getting a massage, signing up for an extra activity like paddle boarding, or exploring the nearby town.

Notes:
  • Secure your spot with a nonrefundable $500 deposit.
  • The balance is due at least 90 days prior to the retreat. If you sign up within 90 days of the retreat, you must pay in full.
  • Upgrade may be available upon request to an oceanfront room.
  • Airfare to/from Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) not included. Note: you may need to depart on the 21st to arrive the 22nd.

  • Transportation to/from Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) or San Jose (SJO) airport for guests arriving and departing on scheduled start/end days of the retreat. LIR is MUCH closer so look there first.
  • Optional add-ons (for additional cost) include surfing, sea turtle nesting tour or beach hopping

Meet Coach Michelle Dozois

As a certified Fitness, Nutrition, and Life Coach, Michelle Dozois knows that being physically fit plays a fundamental role in creating a happy, healthy, and productive life. Helping others find that joy is at the very core of her mission. 

Michelle and her husband, Phil, were the owners of the award-winning Health Club Breakthru Fitness in Pasadena, Ca, for over 13 years. Today Michelle delivers her passion for fitness online with her enthusiasm, expertise, and energy to a worldwide community. 

Her BeFIT studio offers access to more than 15 live-streaming classes per week, plus on-demand workouts geared to making fitness fun, supportive, and accessible no matter where you live!

Michelle's passion for fitness led her to become a gold medalist at the U.S. and World Aerobic Championships. In addition, she's developed hundreds of cutting-edge fitness routines and programs for the home exerciser and produced content for workout videos and consumer magazines distributed worldwide.

She is the creator of the Peak Fit Challenge, an 8-week program designed for experienced exercisers ready to amp up their fitness and get leaner and stronger!

The Accommodations

Our home for the retreat is the iconic Tamarindo Diria Resort, located in the heart of Tamarindo, a coastal town known for surfing, sunsets, and low-key beach vibes. The stunning property has a boutique-y vibe with lush grounds, 4-star accommodations, and a friendly, welcoming staff. There are three pools, including two with swim-up bars, a tennis court, and massage services. Plus, being right on the beach means you'll waste no time between a fresh and delicious breakfast and soaking up the morning sunshine. The best part? While the property is relaxing and peaceful, you are steps away from a safe local town with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops to explore - the perfect vacation balance with something for everyone!

Itinerary

Day 1:
Welcome to Costa Rica! Guests will arrive at the Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) airport and take a provided shuttle to our resort, the Tamarindo Diria. We'll check in and then meet for introductions and a welcome dinner at a delicious restaurant while we watch the sun go down.


Day 2: 
Today we will kick off our morning routine with an invigorating workout. Afterwards we'll enjoy breakfast with ocean views and some free time to relax. In the afternoon we'll be picked up for an exciting zip lining canopy tour (optional) for an adrenaline rush and the ultimate bonding experience! After zip lining, we'll end the day with a delicious BBQ dinner at a private ranch.

Day 3: 
We will have our morning workout followed by a nourishing breakfast. Then today is a free to do your own thing (like a massage or surf lesson) or hang out with some other retreat guests at the pool or beach! We'll meet again for a salsa dancing class and then enjoy a free night to try a local restaurant in town.

Day 4: 
After our morning workout and breakfast, you’ll have some down time before we'll depart for a catamaran tour on the ocean with swimming, snorkeling, and hopefully a glimpse of some whales or dolphins! Late lunch, open bar and unobstructed views of sunset included. Upon our return, we'll have a final dinner overlooking the ocean.

Day 5: 
After breakfast, we'll have some free time to soak up the sun and say our goodbye’s before departing for the airport... til next time!
