Gay Men's Fitness Retreat in Costa RicaThe prestigious Gulf of Papagayo in Costa Rica is known for sun, sand, surf, and now, sweat! We're heading down this November for the ultimate fitness retreat for your body and mind led by Coach Josh Grimm. Together, we'll enjoy challenging and restorative workouts, exciting land and water excursions, delicious local cuisine, and total relaxation with like-minded company. Join this gay-friendly getaway to recharge and reset before a long winter!
Fitness: Each day, our Coach will lead two different, but complementary classes. The morning workouts will be intense, full-body blasting group sessions with functional HIIT, plyometrics, Tabata, and strength training. The evening workouts will be a mix of high-intensity workouts and more restorative movements. We'll use kettlebells, sandbags (filled with sand from the beach) and bodyweight movements to hit the whole body each day. Adventure: There are so many incredible things to see and do in Costa Rica, and on our retreat, we will have two excursions included (though optional) to enjoy the country by land and by sea. We will go on an exhilarating adventure tour with zip lining and horseback riding followed by hot springs on one day, and on another we will sail the ocean with snorkeling and a possible whale sighting! Relaxation: We will enjoy workouts and activities throughout the retreat, but just as important is our down time to relax! At our resort, we can sit by the pool, swim in the ocean, and lay out in the sun. There are also complimentary bikes and kayaks as well as SUP rentals available to you. And of course, the gorgeous spa is at your fingertips! |
