Full of interesting history, thriving culture and beautiful natural wonders, Guatemala is a truly unique country, and a destination we are thrilled to visit. Our stay will be based at Lake Atitlan, with a serene and inspiring backdrop - the ideal setting for rejuvenation and outdoor workouts! The combination of fresh mountain air and the lake's calm waters creates a unique environment that promotes both physical and mental wellness. Fitness: With Tara’s extensive movement background, she’ll be able to get you from a Sun A to a plyo squat jump. She will make sure that all levels feel comfortable in their space with yoga, meditation, and mindful bodyweight movements. On one day, we will be visiting a local gym where Tara will lead a special all-levels workshop on weightlifting. Adventure: There are so many wonderful and exciting things to do on this retreat, and we have planned a balance of activities and free time for you. On one day, we'll experience a combo hike and kayak tour to get to know the area by land and water! Another day will be a full cultural immersion where we'll visit a nearby village and learn about women and their unique crafts in line with Mayan tradition. Relaxation: There will be free time built into the itinerary each day, and one full day to do as you please! Some ideas are to relax at the hotel, visit the nearby nature reserve for hiking and zip lining or explore local towns. |

Meet Coach Tara LaFerraraTara Laferrara is inspired by movement and fun. With her innovative workouts and drive to create working out more fun for others, she brings her personality to her passion of fitness. She started her journey to group and personal fitness training as a track athlete in high school into the collegiate level.
Since then, she has acquired certifications with the National Academy of Sports Medicine including CPT and CES plus a 200 hour yoga teacher training, kettlebell, mobility, and olympic weightlifting level 1 certifications. Tara trains women all over the world through her program TL Method and you can find her on social media as @taralaferrara where she educates, motivates and empowers her followers daily to get up and get moving! |
