Holbert's Garage all about getting your body moving, feeling the beat, and having fun. The more fun you have, the more motivated you will be. And this retreat is ALL about having fun in a new and beautiful environment with amazing, like-minded people. Come for the fun and enjoy the fitness, camaraderie, dining, and relaxation!
Fitness: This all-levels fitness retreat will include a variety of classes ranging from HIIT to strength training to yoga. Regardless of your level or experience, you will learn something new and challenge your body in safe ways while enjoying a supportive and encouraging environment. Adventure: Throughout the retreat, you'll have the opportunity to explore summer in a ski town which means lots of hiking! We'll go on two exciting treks as a group, and you can explore more during free time. You'll also go on a kayaking or paddle boarding excursion on crystal clear Lake Tahoe and a horseback riding excursion! Relaxation: Each day will balance both activities with free time to relax, reflect, or explore on your own or with the group. Our hotel is right on the beach, so lake time is always an option! And on the final night, we'll take a sunset yacht cruise together before enjoying a delicious dinner. |

Fitness should be fun. My entire life, I have tried to make it fun by dancing, smiling, and making people laugh! I loved sports and being active growing up, but my real love for the science behind movement and nutrition didn't come until after my first daughter was born. I'm a wife, mother of two amazing girls, animal lover, and entrepreneur! I work well under pressure or chaos, ha whatever you want to call it! I love to travel, eat great food, motivate others, spend time with family and friends and adventures! As a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor for 10 years through IFA, I worked in a gym for seven years, and I had an opportunity to take my business online and to my garage. Holbert's Garage Fitness has been an absolute dream come true! I run three online programs and have a full roster of personal training clients. Hi, my name is Sara. I am a wife & mother of two. My husband and I own a small business and have for several years. I love what I do, but health and fitness are my passions! I would say this started for me in the 10th grade of high school when I chose weight lifting class over normal gym time. My fitness journey continued over the years trying all the things… aerobics classes, cycling, Zumba, weight training, running, boxing, barre, Pilates and of course yoga. I tried hot yoga for the first time after having my first child (about 13 years ago) and I fell in love! Yoga has been a constant in my life and gives the balance in my mind and body that I crave. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training about a year and a half ago and I’ve been working with Catherine at Holbert’s Garage Fitness ever since. I love to push myself and others in HIIT and strength training workouts, and yoga is the perfect amount of balance after these challenging days! I love seeing how others and myself grow throughout practicing yoga. The growth can be small at times but so rewarding! We held our first yoga and fitness retreat together last year, and I am looking forward to many more! |
