This September, join us on the Italian countryside for six days of fitness and hiking in the Chianti hills, tasting the region's best wine and dining on authentic Tuscan cuisine.
Fitness: This all-levels fitness retreat will incorporate a variety of workouts ranging from strength training to conditioning to restorative stretching. Coach Beth Roberts will start each day with a higher-intensity class targeting the whole body and invigorating the group for the day ahead. Then a second afternoon / early evening class will be on the more restorative side with emphasis on core work and stretching with myofascial release. Adventure: When in Italy, one must enjoy the outdoors and local flavors! As part of the program, we are excited to share new places and experiences with you including a hike through the countryside, surrounded by vineyards and the forest. We'll enjoy the unique sounds and sights through the hills, right next to the hotel! Additionally, we will enjoy a private Tuscan cooking class with a local chef learning about the regional flavors and tips for preparing a delicious meal - which we will then dine on together! We'll handpick many ingredients right from the land for the ultimate freshness! Relaxation: In between the programmed activities of this retreat, you will have time to enjoy the Italian sunshine and fresh air! The unique hotel in Chianti has a beautiful pool, massage services, and beautiful grounds for relaxation. |

Beth Roberts is a fitness trainer and nutrition/lifestyle coach with over 20 years of experience. Beth has taught many styles of fitness and levels of clients over her career as a private coach and group exercise instructor. Her passion for Boot Camp style interval training drove her to establish Killington Boot Camp in Killington, Vermont, where she keeps fitness fun with a variety of indoor and outdoor workouts.
After hosting her first retreat with Ketanga in Tulum, Mexico, Beth has caught the fitness travel bug and has become one of Ketanga's most popular retreat leaders with trips in Costa Rica, Barbados, Cape Cod, and Hawaii! Certifications:
