End of Summer Fitness Celebration

What is a better way to extend your summer fun, body and mindset than on a sunny getaway to stunning Mallorca, Spain this October! The largest of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca is a hidden gem starting to gain popularity among US travelers for its stunning white sand beaches, old towns full of history and delicious ensaïmada pastries!

Join Josh Grimm of FITNUT and a group of like-minded fitness, sun, and sand seekers for this one-of-a-kind experience. Together, we'll play and work out hard with challenging workouts, land and water excursions and local food and drink! PLUS, 10% of the proceeds from this trip will be donated to The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the largest LGBTQ civil rights advocacy group in the United States. 

Fitness:
Josh will lead two workouts per day throughout the retreat. The morning sessions will be intense, full-body blasting group sessions with functional HIIT, plyometrics, Tabata, and strength training. The evening workouts will be slightly more restorative depending on the day's activities. Private one-on-one will also be available upon request for an additional fee. 

Adventure:
There are so many incredible things to see and do in Mallorca, and on our retreat, we have some exciting activities lined up including a hike through the mountains, a day of beach hopping, a visit to the bustling town of Palma, and a local wine tasting!

Relaxation:
Just as important as the workouts and activities is our down time to relax! At our resort, we can sit by the pools, enjoy the wellness center and spa and explore the resort's own private vineyard. Plus, with plenty of free time, there are opportunities to play tennis, rent a private boat, go biking, and more.

  • Accommodations at a luxurious boutique resort in the Mallorcan countryside, just 15 minutes from the PMI airport

The Accommodations

Son Julia Country House is a restored 15th century mansion located in the beautiful countryside of Mallorca. With 29 stunning, spacious rooms and suites, this unique property offers a tranquil oasis of calm just 20 minutes from Palma and 15 minutes from the airport. The extensive estate includes a gourmet restaurant, two outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, beautiful gardens, orchards, and a vineyard. Plus, the boutique spa with an indoor pool has a selection of luxury massages and beauty treatments to enhance your experience (additional cost).

Superior Rooms are 35 square meters, with queen-size or twin beds, located on the first floor overlooking the countryside of Mallorca from a small French balcony. Superior Balcony Rooms are the same size and floor but also have large terraces and private gardens. Opportunities to upgrade to a Deluxe Room or Suite may be available upon request.

Meet Coach Josh Grimm

Josh has been training and coaching private clients in New York and Los Angeles for almost ten years, helping them to achieve superb results in strength building, weight management, toning, conditioning, and corrective rehabilitation.
 
Being well versed in resistance and functional training, Kempo karate, plyometrics, boxing, and bodybuilding, Josh strategically pushes clients in a multi-dimensional training style.
 
Josh developed his brand, FITNUT, after beginning six months of volunteer work in Cambodia at children's orphanage houses. The children's strong will and positive energy motivated him to bring some of that into his work. His passion for travel and giving back is what drives his brand and motivates him to be the best trainer he can be for his clients, and he donates 5% of his earnings to charities. Josh has visited 40 different countries over the past seven years which he feels makes him marketable and accessible to a multitude of clients. Today, he is an ambassador to the Cambodian Community Dream Organization in Siem Ream, Cambodia and on the board of hu:MANE – a charity co-founded by his partner and others that give back worldwide via mission work to the impoverished.
 
Josh Grimm is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and a International Board of Nutrition and Fitness Coaching (IBNFC) Licensed Nutrition Counselor from the Venice Nutrition Medical Board.

Thursday, October 4
  • Welcome to Mallorca! Guests will arrive in the early afternoon, check in and get settled at the hotel, and meet the group for introductions and our first workout. Then we'll continue getting to know one another at dinner right at the resort.

Friday, October 5
  • Wake to an early morning workout and breakfast before departing for an exciting and picturesque hike in the mountains! We'll enjoy a picnic lunch and arrive back at the hotel for a free afternoon (spa treatment, anyone?). In the early evening we'll have a more restorative workout and then the night is free to either stay at the hotel or go into Palma for dinner and optional nightlife.

Saturday, October 6
  • This morning we'll wake up for breakfast at the hotel and then have a free day at the beach! We'll have a ride to and from one of the island's most gorgeous beaches, Es Trenc where we'll have a workout, relax on the sand and grab lunch at one of the chiringuitos (beach cafes). Our second workout and dinner tonight will be back at the hotel.

Sunday, October 7
  • Today we'll have a morning workout and breakfast at the hotel and then depart for a private boat ride! We'll sail, swim and play in the water and enjoy snacks and drinks on board. The boat will make a stop at a local restaurant where you can choose to purchase lunch. We'll get back to port around 2PM and the rest of the day will be free to relax! There will be an optional evening workout, and a free night to enjoy dinner at the hotel or a local restaurant.

Monday, October 8
  • For guests departing today, we'll have our morning workout and say goodbyes at breakfast. For guests staying one more night, today will be a free day! It's up to you to stay at the hotel pools, visit the spa, or go explore another beach or activity on the island. We'll have a private wine tasting with wine from our hotel's vineyard and neighboring vineyards, and then dinner is included at the hotel.

​Tuesday, October 9
  • On our final morning, we'll wake to a workout sure to help us sleep on the flight home! We'll enjoy breakfast, finish packing up, and say our goodbyes!
