Fitness, Food & Fun in Mallorca

We're heading back to Mallorca, Spain for another exciting retreat filled with workouts, local adventures and unique cultural experiences.

Mallorca, an island between Ibiza and Menorca, is a hidden gem becoming popular for its white sand beaches, old towns full of history and delicious 'Mallorquin' cuisine! On this retreat, we will explore all of those highlights while also working out overlooking the sea, hiking through the mountains, sailing to pristine beaches, and chilling at our gorgeous beachfront resort.

Fitness:
This all-levels fitness retreat will incorporate a variety of workouts ranging from strength training to boot camp to restorative stretching. Coach Beth Roberts will start each day with a higher-intensity class targeting the whole body and invigorating the group for the day ahead. Then a second afternoon / early evening class will be on the more restorative side with emphasis on core work and stretching with myofascial release. 

Adventure:
Mallorca is known for its beautiful beaches and sense of adventure! During our week together, you will have a chance to participate in fun adventures as a group, such as hiking through the mountains, sailing to remote beaches and visiting the town of Palma. During free days, you are welcome to sign up for extra activities (additional fee) like horseback riding and biking.

Relaxation:
In perfect balance with the workouts and activities on this retreat, you will also have plenty of time to relax on the beautiful, relaxing beaches, at our resort's refreshing pool or strolling through the local port town of Alcudia.

  • Guests interested in sharing a room with another solo traveler will be paired with a roommate first come, first served with no guarantees and must be willing to pay the single room rate if no roommate is available.

What's Included

  • 6 days / 5 nights accommodations at a beachfront resort in Playa de Alcudia, Mallorca
  • All meals included: three meals per day plus drinks and snacks at the resort
  • 1-2 daily workouts led by Coach Beth
  • Private guided hike through the hills and Mallorcan villages with incredible sea views with lunch
  • Sailing excursion with snorkeling, secluded beach visits, and lunch
  • Choose your own adventure day: Day trip to Palma for shopping, dining and touring, Drach caves for incredible natural wonders, or stay back and relax!
  • Shuttle transportation to/from Palma de Mallorca (PMI) airport for guests arriving by 1PM and departing after 2PM

The Accommodations

The Hotel Condesa, located right by the Playa de Alcudia with incredible sea views, is wonderfully located in the north of the island. In addition, Alcudia and its surroundings are ideal for active vacations thanks to the wide range of sports and leisure activities offered. The hotel itself has three swimming pools, direct beach access and nightly live entertainment. All rooms have a balcony or terrace and bring in lots of light, as well as offer services such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and satellite TV.

Itinerary

Day 1 
Guests will arrive at the Palma de Mallorca (PMI) airport and take a provided shuttle to the resort to check in and get settled. We'll meet together for introductions and a welcome workout, and we'll continue getting to know one another at a group dinner at the hotel.

Days 2-5
Throughout the full days of the retreat, we'll start each morning with an outdoor workout and a fueling breakfast. Then during the day time you'll either take part in an excursion like hiking, sailing or visiting Palma or enjoy free time to do as you wish like relaxing at the beach, wandering through Alcudia or signing up for an extra activity. In the late afternoons, we'll either have free time or come together for a second class, something more restorative after an active day on the island. In the evenings, we'll enjoy dinner and optional entertainment at the hotel or in the surrounding town.

Day 6
On our final day together, we'll wake up to an optional final workout and one last breakfast together. As a group, we'll depart in a provided shuttle for the airport.

Meet Coach Beth Roberts

Beth Roberts is a fitness trainer and nutrition/lifestyle coach with over 20 years of experience. Beth has taught many styles of fitness and levels of clients over her career as a private coach and group exercise instructor. Her passion for Boot Camp style interval training drove her to establish Killington Boot Camp in Killington, Vermont, where she keeps fitness fun with a variety of indoor and outdoor workouts.

After hosting her first retreat with Ketanga in Tulum, Mexico, Beth has caught the fitness travel bug and has become one of Ketanga's most popular retreat leaders with trips in Costa Rica, Barbados, Cape Cod, and Hawaii!
