Fitness, Food & Fun in Nashville

You've always wanted to visit Nashville, but never had a reason, right? Join us on our Nashville City Escape! The idea behind our City Escape trips is to explore cities throughout the US with local input and a wellness mindset. 

Skip the hop-on-hop-off bus and join us for a bike tour of the city, workouts in front of some of the most notable Nashville locations like the Parthenon and Bicentennial Mall, go hiking in a state park, and of course enjoy all the best eats, drinks and live music.

This special retreat will be hosted by our founder, Stacy Schwartz, who moved to Nashville from NYC!

Fitness:
Throughout the holiday weekend, we will work out at notable Nashville locations. Fitness types will vary between strength & conditioning, HIIT and core. All classes are suitable for any fitness level.

Adventure:
You'll get up close and personal with nature on a mild-moderate hike at Radnor Lake State Park, less than 20 minutes from downtown, and enjoy a kayaking excursion (weather depending)!​ You'll also have the opportunity to taste Nashville hot chicken-- that counts as 'adventure', don't you think? During free time, the city is yours to explore!

Relaxation:
Nashville is known for its food and its music, so we will be sure to explore both on our weekend escape! We'll visit Broadway, home of the Honky Tonk bars, for an (optional) evening of live music and local brews. We'll also have the option to visit a local cidery, distillery, and lots more!

Itinerary

Friday, May 27
Welcome to Nashville! After checking in, we'll meet for introductions and a welcome workout at a nearby park. After cleaning up, we'll head over to dinner at the (arguably) best BBQ spot in town! In the evening, we'll have the option to visit some nearby bars for live music and local brews.

Saturday, May 28
This morning we'll start with a workout at the famous Capitol Steps and then walk through Bicentennial Mall to the Farmer's Market to explore and get a bite to eat. After some free time (hang at the hotel, visit the Musicians' Hall of Fame, etc.), we'll depart for a relaxing kayaking adventure on the Harpeth River. The evening is free! Suggestion: visit the Honky Tonks on Broadway for a true Nashville experience or head to the Wedgewood-Houston area for a local vibe with eats and drinks. Or, maybe we'll all decide to ride a pedal tavern!?

Sunday, May 29
​After a Boxing Boot Camp (non contact) class in Centennial Park, we'll depart for a mild-moderate hike at Radnor Lake State Park. We'll look for deer and owls while breathing the fresh air and enjoying one another's company. After an active morning, we'll slow things down with a picnic lunch. Your afternoon is free to explore, shop, eat, or nap! After showers, we'll head to dinner at one of the top restaurants in East Nashville for a gourmet multi-course meal and an option to go out for arcade games or live music after.

Monday, May 30
Our final morning will kick off with a HIIT workout, and then we'll enjoy a delicious brunch together before saying goodbyes!

Accommodations

Guests will be staying at the Moxy Hotel by Vanderbilt and Hillsboro Village, perfect for getting around without a car and steps from tons of great restaurants and shops! Check in at the hotel bar and treat yourself to a cocktail to kick off the weekend and then enjoy comfortable accommodations with a king bed or two queens. All rooms include complimentary WiFi, leather headboards, overhead lighting, and comfy beds (with USB ports on the bedside table, of course).
