On this exciting retreat to Portugal, we'll explore palaces, beaches and gardens while getting to know the local culture and staying active! Estoril is a stunning beach town just outside of Lisbon, in the heart of the Portuguese Riviera. Known for being the inspiration behind James Bond "Casino Royale", Estoril is stylish, sophisticated and full of local charm.
From dining at family-run restaurants to hiking to the westernmost tip of Europe to high-energy fitness classes overlooking colorful palaces, a truly unique and authentic experience awaits.
This all-levels fitness retreat will incorporate a variety of workouts ranging from strength training to conditioning to restorative stretching. Coach Beth Roberts will start each day with a higher-intensity class targeting the whole body and invigorating the group for the day ahead. Then a second afternoon / early evening classes will be on the more restorative side with emphasis on core work and stretching with myofascial release.
Working out is only part of the fun on this Portugal adventure. Throughout the retreat, we'll have unique experiences ranging from hiking along the coast in Sintra, to visiting Pena Palace and Monserrate gardens. Plus, we'll take a day trip to Lisbon with a private tour and free time to explore!
In between our activities and workouts will be plenty of free time to relax or explore on your own! Our hotel is in the middle of Estoril with many restaurants, cafes and shopping nearby. Plus, we'll be across the street from a local park. And if you prefer to stay in and relax, our hotel has a gorgeous spa with a la carte services and complimentary use of the dynamic swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and gym.

Beth Roberts is a fitness trainer and nutrition/lifestyle coach with over 20 years of experience. Beth has taught many styles of fitness and levels of clients over her career as a private coach and group exercise instructor. Her passion for Boot Camp style interval training drove her to establish Killington Boot Camp in Killington, Vermont, where she keeps fitness fun with a variety of indoor and outdoor workouts.
After hosting her first retreat with Ketanga in Tulum, Mexico, Beth has caught the fitness travel bug and has become one of Ketanga's most popular retreat leaders with trips in Costa Rica, Barbados, Cape Cod, and Mallorca!
