Power & Pause in Costa RicaJoin Ketanga guest-turned-Coach Amy Hilgenberg on the ultimate fitness and adventure getaway in Costa Rica! Amy will guide the group through daily strength-focused workouts designed to energize and ignite, as well as afternoon yoga classes to help you unwind for the evening. Each day will offer a variety of activities with free time to relax, explore, or experience Tamarindo by yourself or with others.
Fitness: We’ll start each day with an energetic group training session, which will include a variety of workouts ranging from HIIT to traditional strength-focused movements. The workouts are appropriate for all fitness levels and are designed to help you step into your POWER and set the intention for the day ahead. After spending the day exploring and adventuring, you’ll have the opportunity to PAUSE as Coach Amy guides you through a gentle afternoon group yoga class. Each session will combine elements of mindful movement, meditation, and breathwork, and is designed to invite stillness in both the body and the mind. All fitness levels are welcomed. Adventure: As a group, we will zip line through the lush Costa Rican forest, as well as enjoy a day of snorkeling, swimming, and watching the sunset on a Catamaran in the ocean. These activities are included but totally optional! Relaxation: During your free time, you can relax by the pool or beach, get a message, sign up for an extra excursion like horseback riding or surf lessons, or visit the town for some shopping. |

Coach Amy began her fitness journey at the age of 23, after a childhood of obesity and eating her insecurities though high school and early adulthood. She immersed herself into getting healthy by losing 70 pounds, which eventually led to a consistent strength training and yoga practice. It is now her passion to help others find their strength, step into their power, and take up the space they deserve.
Born and raised in Utah, Amy spent her summers hiking and exploring mountains and canyons. She developed a love for the outdoors early on, which made sitting behind a desk almost unbearable. She spent 10 years working in the investment industry before trading in a desk and a computer for a yoga mat and barbell, and she never looked back. Amy is a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach, and a E-RYT 200 with over 15 years teaching experience. She enjoys looking at movement through more than one lens and uses her extensive knowledge as both a trainer and yoga instructor to help her clients maximize their efforts in the weight room and on the mat. In addition to being the owner and creator of NamaStrength Training, Amy is also a nutrition and health coach at Vitality OET, where she helps women restore their metabolism, rebalance their hormones, and build muscle and lose body fat for life. When she’s not training or teaching yoga, Amy stays very busy playing with her two very active boys, ages 9 and 5, who keep her laughing and exhausted. |
