The TL Retreat in Costa Rica
The TL Retreat encompasses movement, mindfulness, and a sense of adventure to your daily lives. Join a group of like-minded women in a beautiful destination where we can find inner peace, beauty, and love of movement through a community of empowerment.
With Tara’s background, she’ll be able to get you from a Sun A to a plyo squat jump. She will make sure that all levels feel comfortable in their space with yoga, meditation, and mindful bodyweight movements.
Afternoons in Costa Rica can be spent in a million ways. On our retreat, we've included two special activities along with a free day to choose your own adventure (whether that takes you on the surf or sand!).
First, we'll take an exhilarating surf lesson together, perfect for all levels (even absolute beginners!). Our instructors will lead us through a land lesson and then take us out on the waves! On another day we'll escape on a catamaran for snorkeling, whale watching and sunset viewing (with lunch and an open bar)!
Each day will balance activities with free time to relax, reflect, or go explore on your own or with others. Some ideas to consider (other than soaking in the resort's three pools or laying on the beach) include getting a massage, signing up for an extra excursion like surfing or horseback riding, or visiting the town for some shopping.
Meet Coach Tara LaFerrara
Tara Laferrara is inspired by movement and fun. With her innovative workouts and drive to create working out more fun for others, she brings her personality to her passion of fitness. She started her journey to group and personal fitness training as a track athlete in high school into the collegiate level.
Since then, she has acquired certifications with the National Academy of Sports Medicine including CPT and CES plus a 200 hour yoga teacher training, kettlebell, mobility, and olympic weightlifting level 1 certifications. Tara trains women all over the world through her program TL Method and you can find her on social media as @taralaferrara where she educates, motivates and empowers her followers daily to get up and get moving!
