Vet Candy Retreat

Join us in sunny Costa Rica for adventure, fun, and exciting continuing education. Thirteen hours of RACE-approved continuing education will be provided to attendees!* Our program, hosted by Vet Candy, will combine interesting lectures to further your professional and personal development with wellness activities and free time to enjoy the surroundings and one another. Experience the continuing education conference like no other while you soak up the sun, network with other professionals and enjoy well-deserved relaxation in luxurious surroundings.

Continuing Education:
  • Infectious diseases: Emerging diseases of concern plus a review of common infectious diseases.
  • Personal development: Effective negotiation and leadership skills for the veterinary professional plus the art of networking and finding your career path.
  • Vet Candy Outbreak: Vet Candy Outbreak is an interactive physical adventure game in which veterinary professionals work together in teams to solve mystery surrounding an outbreak in a fictional community using clues, hints, and strategy.

Wellness:
On two mornings before the lectures begin, we will offer yoga classes led by a local instructor. We'll move our bodies and ready our minds for the day ahead while looking at the picturesque tropical surroundings! Also, when we're not in session, guests are welcome to take advantage of the beautiful and relaxing resort amenities, pool and beach.
