Vet Candy RetreatJoin us in sunny Costa Rica for adventure, fun, and exciting continuing education. Thirteen hours of RACE-approved continuing education will be provided to attendees!* Our program, hosted by Vet Candy, will combine interesting lectures to further your professional and personal development with wellness activities and free time to enjoy the surroundings and one another. Experience the continuing education conference like no other while you soak up the sun, network with other professionals and enjoy well-deserved relaxation in luxurious surroundings.
Continuing Education:
Wellness: On two mornings before the lectures begin, we will offer yoga classes led by a local instructor. We'll move our bodies and ready our minds for the day ahead while looking at the picturesque tropical surroundings! Also, when we're not in session, guests are welcome to take advantage of the beautiful and relaxing resort amenities, pool and beach. There are complimentary bikes and kayaks as well as SUP rentals and spa services available (for an additional fee). Adventure: There are so many incredible things to see and do in Costa Rica, and on our retreat, we will have an exciting day trip on our last day together. We will go sailing on a memorable catamaran tour on the Pacific Ocean, complete with snorkeling, open bar, light lunch, and a possible whale and dolphin sightings! |

Dr. Courtney A. Campbell is a board certified veterinary surgeon, host, author, and producer. Campbell is known for hosting and producing the veterinary news show, Vet Candy Watch and a popular podcast on PetLife Radio. He is an award winning journalist and was the 2020 recipient of Global Pet’s Excellence in Journalism and Outstanding Contributions to the Pet Industry Award.

Dr. Jenifer Chatfield is the Staff Veterinarian at 4J Conservation Center, an instructor for FEMA & Department of Homeland Security courses, and a Regional Commander for the National Disaster Medicine System Team. She is a graduate of Texas A&M and has pursued emergency medicine and zoo medicine throughout her career. She is also board certified in zoo and preventative medicine.
