Workouts + Wine Tasting
Join us in a stunning private villa for 4 days of working out, tasting local wines, enjoying fresh meals, and experiencing all of the natural beauties and adventures of Sonoma County. Plus, celebrate Coach Amanda's birthday in Sonoma style!
Let's be real - we're in WINE country! That said, we love to work out (and earn those delicious calories), so Coach Amanda will be leading two unique workouts per day. Mornings will be reserved for the real deal - HIIT, strength, and/or cardio on the beautiful villa grounds. The second workout of the day will be restorative and yoga-based and could take place at the villa, at a vineyard, or in a local park.
We're staying at two private houses in Sonoma County, each complete with a pool, beautifully manicured grounds, plenty of games, and a well-equipped kitchen. There will be a Coach or Ketanga representative at each house which are 10-15 minutes apart, and the group will be all together for activities and retreat programming.
Each day will have a different activity to make the most of being in this treasured part of the country, such as biking around the Sonoma vineyards, hiking local trails, stand-up paddle boarding (optional), and did we mention wine tasting?
Meet Coach Amanda Butler
Amanda Butler is a personal trainer, fitness instructor, and fitness model in the crazy, beautiful city of New York. Originally from Hastings, Nebraska (the land of corn, cows and Husker Football!), she grew up with a deep love of sports and dance. She studied Dance at Oklahoma City University and performed for the Royal Caribbean cruise line for three years. When she was ready to plant her feet on dry land, there was no better place to go than New York City!
Amanda loves to share her passion for fitness and well being with clients. To her it is all about finding balance and living your best life. She is here to motivate you, to make you realize that living a healthy lifestyle is easily attainable, and to become "Stronger than your Excuses!" Thursday, August 11:
Welcome to Wine Country! We'll kick things off with an afternoon workout at the Madrone Estate Winery overlooking the vineyard. After class, we'll be treated to a private wine tasting and then head to our private villas to shower up and settle in. In the evening we'll get to know each other at a fun, casual BBQ while playing a friendly game of pool or ping pong.
Friday, August 12:
After a good night's sleep, enjoy a light breakfast at the house followed by a workout in nearby Larson Park. You will have some free time to relax by the pool, venture to a vineyard, or explore the town of Sonoma. We will meet back up in the afternoon for a bike ride through Sonoma with a pit stop & private tasting at Bartholomew Winery. Join the group for dinner in Glen Ellen or go off on your own to explore the area.
Saturday, August 13:
This morning will start with an outdoor workout and maybe a light jog. We'll enjoy some free time to explore the town of Glen Ellen or go for a swim, and then we'll spend the afternoon on a light to moderate hike in Jack London State Park with a yoga and stretching class at the end. At night, we'll indulge in a professionally catered dinner while kicking back and enjoying each other's company.
Sunday, August 14:
On our final morning, we'll have a light bite while packing up our suitcases and enjoying one last dip in the pool. We'll swing by Viansa Vineyard for a late-morning yoga class, farewell toast, and lunch, then we have the option to go stand-up paddle boarding or continue along to the airport and say our goodbyes & see-you-soons!
