Yoga & Adventure RetreatThis small group getaway to Barbados is all about combining yoga, adventure and laid-back fun in the sun! We'll get to know the welcoming Bajan culture while tasting traditional cuisine, practicing yoga on the white sand beaches and snorkeling over shipwrecks from the nation's past. Plus, we'll be taking part in the island's very own Adventure Race, a team obstacle course race open to all fitness levels and abilities!
Yoga: Each day, our group leader, Coach Britney Byfield, will teach 1-2 yoga classes that are meant to inspire and challenge yogis of ALL levels! Her style incorporates elements from her dance and gymnastics background to keep things fresh and exciting each day. In her class, you can expect a fun, dynamic flow using muscles you didn't know existed. Plus, Britney will be leading a special handstand / inversion workshop one day to help you take your personal practice to the next level! Adventure: Each day of the retreat will present an opportunity for adventure ranging from the option to try a new food at the famous Oistin's Fish Fry to sailing on a catamaran and snorkeling over shipwrecks! But the biggest highlight is participating in the Barbados Adventure Race, a team-based challenge with fun and challenging obstacles ranging from rappelling ropes to inverted walls to sandbag carries and more!! Relaxation: Each day will balance activities with free time to relax, reflect, or go explore on your own or with others. Our resort is right on the beach so free time is yours to cherish on the sand, in town or by the pool. |

"So I was hesitant at first on going on the fitness retreat because I wasn’t sure what it would be like, and I am beyond happy I decided to go. This was by far one of my most favorite/memorable trips I’ve been on to this day. The best part was not having to worry about where to eat, or what fun activities I should do because the best of the best was already planned out for me. All I needed to do was show up. The workouts are not mandatory, but was honestly one of my favorite parts because it gets you up and moving, ready to start your day! Stacy (Ketanga's founder) is extremely organized and knows exactly what she is doing to make your trip more than perfect. She knows every spot to go to to site see, to get some good food and just to have a great experience overall! Britney was our yoga instructor on the trip. I’ve known Britney for a few years now, and she is one of the best fitness instructors I know in New York. She did such a great job helping Stacy lead the trip! So Stacy sure knows how to pick them:) I just can not wait for the net retreat!" - Nicole R.
