1. Meet new peopleHave you ever shown up to a party with your bff and spent more time chatting to each other than with other people? It's natural to default to your social comfort zone, but traveling solo pushes you to talk to new people. And who knows? You may come home from your trip with new friends! 2. You decide the itineraryRemember those choose-your-own-adventure books you read when you were a kid? Think of solo travel as the grown-up, real life version. No need to cater to the needs and wants of your travel companions. By yourself, you can go where you want, when you want. You can eat what you want, whenever you please. You can go to sleep when you feel like it! The world is yours. 3. Feel confident in your own companyDoes being alone make you uncomfortable or anxious? Do you always surround yourself with other people? Face your fear head-on. Learning to enjoy your own company will make you a more self-assured, confident person. Take time to listen to your thoughts while you're traveling - they're all pieces in the puzzle of understanding yourself. Added bonus: distance makes the heart grow fonder. Spending time away from friends and family will deepen your love and appreciation for them. 4. Pack lighter! On a solo vacation, the only person who cares if you wear the same outfit a few days in a row is you! Pack light and feel even lighter. With no friends to help carry your bags, you'll appreciate the smaller load. Plus, you'll have more room for meaningful souvenirs to remember your solo adventure! 5. Learn how to be more presentSharing a travel experience with friends can be incredibly rewarding, but solo travel affords you something arguably more valuable: the opportunity for complete presence. Take it! Log off social media and focus on being in the moment. Let nothing come between you and your destination. Take plenty of photos, but save them to post when you're back home. I find it is ALWAYS more relaxing to go on a week's vacation by myself. I can do what I want when I want, change my mind at the last minute and go to bed as early as I want as well as get up late too!

Thank You for sharing a nice blog. By traveling solo you will have the time and freedom to create your own itinerary, change it as you please and enjoy the peace of being by yourself immersed in nature or, why not, meet the locals and try to communicate with them.
