One week of Healthy Apple Recipes from some of Ketanga's favorite coaches: Day 1
After a recent apple picking trip with her young kids, Coach Brooke Taylor (of Taylored Fitness) created some healthy fall recipes just for us! This one (my personal favorite) couldn't be easier, and it is a healthy alternative to sugary treats or addicting chips!
Plus, what a great snack to take while traveling or on a fitness retreat!
2 Gala Apples
1 Granny Smith
1 tbsp of Cinnamon
Preheat the oven 200 degrees.
Meanwhile, slice up the apples horizontally in very thin slices.
Remove all of the seeds and core of the apple.
Place slices on a large baking pan and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake for 1 hour.
Take the pan out and flip each apple slice and then bake for an additional 1.5 hours.
Then shut the oven off and let the apple slices sit in there while the oven cools off.
Take them out let them cool off and seal it up tight in tupperware.
