Why create a bucket list?
For some people, an ordinary event can trigger them to try to live their life more adventurously. CNN did a feature on Laura Lawson who decided to try some more daring activities after watching the movie "Yes Man". She’s been traveling extensively, flying planes, canyoneering, and ziplining over alligators just by learning how to say yes to opportunities that come her way
It helped her see more of the world and discover amazing experiences. She says that creating a bucket list and trying to tick it off one by one also increased her self-esteem. In fact, she met her now-husband after she took charge of her life, and they even went skydiving on their honeymoon. It’s one of the compelling reasons mentioned here on Ketanga Fitness for going on a solo adventure—you get to meet a lot of people from different communities. And who knows, you may even meet the love of your life if you're single!
Aside from making friends all around the globe, a bucket list can also help you understand more about what type of a traveler you are. An infographic on bucket lists published by Lottoland suggests identifying your priorities as you cook up your ultimate checklist of things to do during your lifetime. Do you want to go on off-the-grid expeditions, experience adrenaline-pumping activities, or more city-based adventures? It also helps you become more goal-oriented, creative, and inspired to make the best out of the one life that you have.

There are so many things to do in this world that it would be impossible to create a universal bucket list. To give you a few ideas, here are a few of the most common adventures that appear on many people’s bucket lists...
1. Cage dive with Great Whites: Number one on PopSugar’s list of adventures for thrill seekers, is getting into the water (safely) with one of the most dangerous predators on the planet.
2. Go on a Eurotrip: Europe is an amazing continent that everyone must visit at least once in their lifetime. There’s an unlimited number of things to do for every kind of adventurer!
3. Scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef: Take a trip to the Land Down Under to swim, snorkel, or dive in the world’s largest coral reef system.
4. Surf in Hawaii: Catch the raddest waves in Maui, Oahu, Kauai or virtually anywhere else in Hawaii.
5. Rock climb in Yosemite: Did you know that in 2017, famous rock climber Alex Honnold completed a free solo climb up El Capitan? Maybe you can try a few attempts at rock climbing—not to Honnold’s level—but it can be just as exciting.
6. BASE jump in Norway: For unbelievable views, head up and step off from Kjerag Cliff.
7. See the Northern Lights: While you’re still in Norway, make sure not to miss the lights show in the Arctic sky.
8. Hike in Patagonia: Paste Magazine highlights the Perito Moreno Glacier as one of the most unforgettable views you’ll get to see in this lifetime. It’s also the home to intimidating and humbling mountains such as the Torres del Paine.
9. Go on a Safari trip: Go to Africa and keep your eyes peeled for the Big 5: African lion, African leopard, rhinoceros, Cape buffalo, and African elephant.
10. Summit Mount Everest: Lastly, at some point in life, most people dreamed of watching the world from its highest peak, Mount Everest. It’s no easy feat to conquer, but definitely one that you’ll never ever forget.
