Desert Escape Wellness Retreat

Life can be very busy and challenging, and often we don’t take the opportunity to fill our own cups and feel healthy and whole. This retreat will support your overall wellbeing alongside other women who are ready and open for an entire weekend dedicated to taking care of themselves! We will hike, practice yoga, interval train, meditate, breathe, journal, relax at the spa and pool, eat delicious food, laugh….and yes, enjoy adult beverages! What better place to recharge and refresh than at a mountain-view resort in Arizona? Gather your girl friends and join us for this fun fall getaway!

Fitness:
Each day you will have the opportunity to participate in a training session with Coach Lauren and a guided meditation and yoga practice with Coach Rachel. The workouts will be welcoming - and safely challenging - for all levels. Plus, we'll enjoy mindful mom workshops and healthy, delicious meals for a holistic approach to our wellness.

Adventure:
The retreat will include a beautiful hike along Camelback Mountain led by your retreat hosts. We will also head to Old Town for a girls night out on the town!

Relaxation:
Though we have a lot of exciting activities planned, we will also take full advantage of our luxurious resort and its beautiful amenities - mamas need to relax and indulge, too! On Saturday afternoon we will take advantage of the gorgeous spa with a complimentary treatment! Plus, during free time, you're welcome to pamper yourself with additional relaxing spa treatments (not included), complimentary bike rentals or simply indulge at the pools.

Meet Coach Britney Byfield

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Coach Britney has always had a passion for fitness, health and anatomy. After growing up a competitive gymnast, she later transitioned to dance and lacrosse, and she picked up yoga and completely fell in love while she attended The Florida State University with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science.

In search of a fast-paced environment to mesh with her inner drive, Britney moved to New York City on a whim! She became certified through Yoga Alliance at the 200-hr level and later went on to study for her NASM Personal Training Exam. Incorporating her dance and gymnastics background in her classes, she loves to lead fun, dynamic flows using muscles you didn't know existed!

Britney also coaches USAG/Recreational Gymnastics at NYC Elite. With her love for an active lifestyle Britney hopes to change the lives of children and adults with fitness and a positive attitude. Follow Britney on Instagram at @bbyfield.

The Accommodations

Our home for the retreat is the Omni Montelucia in Scottsdale, Arizona. This picture-perfect destination brings the essence of Spain to the heart of Arizona and offers luxurious accommodations, a world-class spa, Spanish-inspired cuisine, breathtaking Camelback Mountain views, and more --all in a prime location near award-winning golf courses, shopping, recreation and nightlife.

During our stay, guests will have the option to stay in a private or a double (two queen beds) guest room with deluxe resort views. Each room includes complimentary Wi-Fi, Keurig system with coffee and tea and in-room access to Netflix. Plus, guests have access to Omni's Get Fit Kit and Sleep Well Kit upon request.

Itinerary

Day 1
Welcome to a weekend of wellness and relaxation! Guests will arrive in the early afternoon, check in at the Omni Montelucia and get settled. We will meet for introductions and a welcome flow with Britney. Then we'll have some free time to shower and freshen up before group dinner at the hotel and an intimate campfire connection hang out before retiring to our rooms for a good night's sleep.


Day 2
This morning we will wake up to a nourishing breakfast and then head out for a hiking excursion. We'll trek through Camelback Mountain, stopping to enjoy the views and a scenic yoga practice! The afternoon will be free to relax at the luxurious resort, visit a winery or explore the local town. In the late afternoon, we'll come together for a second yoga practice and then enjoy a free evening (option for an add-on sunset Jeep tour!).

Day 3
Today we will enjoy a morning yoga practice and specialty inversion workshop. Whether you've never done a headstand or you prefer life upside-down, you will learn something new in this safe, guided workshop. After class and fueling up with a delicious breakfast, we will depart for another beautiful hike. This one will be ______. When we get back, there will be some free time for lunch and for scheduling complimentary spa treatments! Pick from our menu of a massage, facial, mani/pedi, or body treatment, and then indulge in the private pool with the rest of the group! In the evening we'll depart for a night out with dinner included at a delicious local restaurant.

Day 4

On our final morning together, we'll kick things off with a yoga class followed by an enjoyable and leisurely brunch. We'll transition into a Mindfulness Workshop w
here you'll define what self-care means to you and gain support in designing your life with YOU being first. Then we'll have some final words to conclude the retreat festivities and depart feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.​
