Hudson Valley Adventure Weekend
Now, more than ever, we could all use a vacation! Many of us have spent the past few months in isolation and with growing cabin fever. While big international trips may not be possible at this time, we are excited to be able to offer a weekend getaway just two hours from NYC that will make you feel a million miles from home. With strict sanitation and safety procedures in place, and 150 acres of space for socially-distanced activities, we are thrilled to invite you to our Hudson Valley Adventure Camp!
Our weekend together will combine fitness, adventure and relaxation in a 'choose your own adventure' format. We will have an itinerary with set activities as well as free time for 'electives' that you can opt in or out of at your leisure for a personalized and safe vacation experience. Get out of the house, meet fun new friends and enjoy the fresh air with us this fall! Fitness Each day of our retreat will provide multiple options for working out! We will have some of our top instructors joining the weekend to offer a variety of classes such as strength & conditioning, boxing, mobility, and yoga! ALL levels will be accommodated and are welcome and encouraged to join. Adventure Our home for the weekend is a fully-functional Dude Ranch, so adventure is guaranteed! Each guest will have the opportunity to go on a trail ride (beginner through advanced rides are available) through the beautifully landscaped ranch grounds. Plus, activities like paddle boating on a private lake and hiking / nature walking through a groomed trail are available at your leisure. Relaxation This weekend is for you. So if you decide to skip some activities to simply relax, that's completely fine! We will be providing more restful and self-care activities as well like making your own macrame plant holder, practicing meditation and swimming in the outdoor pool. Plus, you are welcome to play with goats and horses for some informal animal therapy! |

Kate Hyman, Strength & Conditioning, Boxing, Mobility
Kate is a fitness coach and boxing instructor working out of Work Train Fight in NYC for the past 9 years. She believes there is something in fitness for everyone, though the same approach does not work for everyone. Kate helps people find the approach that makes them love movement! Coach Kate teaches strength and boxing classes, as well as one-on-one training. During classes, everyone has a different fitness level, different body and different needs. She takes pride in giving everyone as much personal attention as possible to improve where they need it. Her goal is for students to walk out of a class having learned something to take with them-- it’s not all about sweating and burning calories! |
Rebecca Weible, Yoga, Meditation
As there was little opportunity to practice yoga while growing up in Myrtle Beach, SC, Rebecca's mom bought her a book about yoga to fuel her interest. Once she taught herself crow pose from the book she was hooked! Rebecca's regular practice began in a Jivamukti studio in Charleston, SC during college. After a few years of practicing yoga in NYC, she started her teacher training with YogaWorks. While working in advertising, she taught yoga on the side. She decided to leave the corporate job environment and pursue her dream of opening a yoga studio and teaching full time. She is now the founder and director of YoYoga! in New York City. She did both her 200 Hour and 300 Hour trainings at YogaWorks. Rebecca has studied Restorative Yoga with Jillian Pransky and Anatomy through Jill Miller’s Yoga Tune Up Anatomy Module. Rebecca and Yo Yoga! have been written up in the New York Times, Time Out New York, and AM New York and have been featured on MTV and France One Television. And finally, Rebecca has been certified in Ganja Yoga. |
