Our small-group setting will be the perfect environment for meaningful activities, conversations and meetings. Surround yourself with like-minded people and treat yourself to something special. Fitness Each day of our retreat will offer a different type of fitness class, appropriate for all levels. Stacy will lead the group through a stretch and core class on the first day and then teach a total body conditioning class with fun partner drills, a boxing class to de-stress in a fun way, and a strength class to build and rebuild muscle. Classes are optional but encouraged for all to try. Adventure Our group activities include a hike in nearby Minnewaska State Park and a day at the lake with kayaking, lawn games and a picnic. Both adventures are meant to keep you active but won't be too strenuous, and there will be plenty of time to rest and recover. Relaxation This weekend is for you. So if you decide to skip some activities to simply relax, that's completely fine! We will be providing more restful and self-care activities as well like making your own macrame plant holder and participating in a journaling workshop. We'll also be cooking some meals as a group and, of course, enjoying them together. |

Stacy Schwartz is the founder of Ketanga Fitness Retreats and a personal trainer based out of NYC and Nashville. Since 2014, Stacy has organized and hosted over 85 retreats around the world in an effort to connect like-minded people and build community. Her goal is to enable (and encourage) people to travel the way they want without having to be alone.
Many Ketanga Fitness Retreats have themes beyond the type of fitness they offer. From LGBT to women-only to now offering programs for guests in the recovery community, Stacy is committed to providing inclusive experiences for wellness and travel enthusiasts of all backgrounds. During the Covid-19 pandemic when traveling came to a halt, Stacy moved to Nashville, TN and focused on re-building the business while also helping people look and feel their best through virtual and in-person personal training. With a focus on variety and making fitness fun, Stacy enjoys creating workout environments that support and encourage clients of all levels. |
