Refresh, Rejuvenate, Recover

This summer, join a four-day getaway for fitness, adventure and relaxation in the heart of the Hudson Valley, NY! Our small-group setting will be the perfect environment for meaningful activities, conversations and meetings. Surround yourself with like-minded people and treat yourself to something special. We look forward to seeing you!

Fitness
Each day of our retreat will offer a different type of fitness class, appropriate for all levels. Stacy will lead the group through a stretch and core class on the first day and then teach a total body conditioning class with fun partner drills, a boxing class to de-stress in a fun way, and a strength class to build and rebuild muscle. Classes are optional but encouraged for all to try.

Adventure
Our group activities include a hike in nearby Minnewaska State Park and a day at the lake with kayaking, lawn games and a picnic. Both adventures are meant to keep you active but won't be too strenuous, and there will be plenty of time to rest and recover.

Relaxation
This weekend is for you. So if you decide to skip some activities to simply relax, that's completely fine! We will be providing more restful and self-care activities as well like making your own macrame plant holder and participating in a journaling workshop. We'll also be cooking some meals as a group and, of course, enjoying them together.

  • $985 per person

  • Transportation to/from the retreat is not included. Guests will carpool to included local activities.
  • Rooms are shared and guests will have their own beds unless otherwise specified. Single rooms may be available for an additional fee.

Retreat Itinerary

Thursday, July 15
Welcome to the peaceful Hudson Valley! Guests will plan to arrive in the late afternoon around 4PM to get settled and kick off the weekend. We'll meet for introductions and our first workout, something low-impact to stretch out after a morning of traveling. A bit later after showers and exploring the property, we'll come together for a meeting with hors d'oeuvres and then head out for welcome dinner (included) at a local restaurant. Back at the house, we'll hang out and get a good night's sleep for the adventure ahead.

Friday, July 16
This morning we will wake up refreshed and ready for the day. We'll have an optional total body conditioning class for all levels (everything is optional!). We'll earn a delicious homemade breakfast (DIY style) and then get ready for the day's adventure, a beautiful hike. After an active morning, we'll have the afternoon to relax, explore the local town and find a nice spot for lunch or simply head back to the house to hang out. We'll come together in the late afternoon for a journaling activity followed by the day's meeting, and then we'll enjoy a home-cooked dinner. Tonight is game night!

Saturday, July 17
Wake up to an energetic boxing class (no contact, but bring gloves if you have them!) and a fueling breakfast. Today we'll head to a lake for a fun day of kayaking, lawn games and a picnic! Depending on when we head out, our meeting may take place lakeside, and then we'll have free time to reflect and relax. In the late afternoon there will be a macrame class to make your own hanging plant holder if you'd like, a great souvenir from the weekend! On our final evening together, we'll all come together for a backyard BBQ.

Sunday, July 18
Our final retreat morning will begin with a strength & conditioning workout and light snack while we shower and pack up. We'll have our final group meeting and then enjoy a celebratory and leisurely brunch. We'll reminisce about the weekend that flew by, and then we'll say our goodbyes-for-now and head home.

The Accommodations

Our comfortable accommodations will be at a private home in the Hudson Valley, NY. The specific house will be announced once we have a better sense of how many guests will be joining the program.

Meet Your Retreat Leader, Stacy

Stacy Schwartz is the founder of Ketanga Fitness Retreats and a personal trainer based out of NYC and Nashville. Since 2014, Stacy has organized and hosted over 85 retreats around the world in an effort to connect like-minded people and build community. Her goal is to enable (and encourage) people to travel the way they want without having to be alone. 

Many Ketanga Fitness Retreats have themes beyond the type of fitness they offer. From LGBT to women-only to now offering programs for guests in the recovery community, Stacy is committed to providing inclusive experiences for wellness and travel enthusiasts of all backgrounds.

During the Covid-19 pandemic when traveling came to a halt, Stacy moved to Nashville, TN and focused on re-building the business while also helping people look and feel their best through virtual and in-person personal training. With a focus on variety and making fitness fun, Stacy enjoys creating workout environments that support and encourage clients of all levels.
